This summer, Maxime and Romain’s goal is to take you to Courchevel and the surrounding area’s most beautiful cycle tracks on electric mountain bikes. No stress, no pressure and at your own pace… enjoying the summits on two wheels has never been so easy!

In the winter, we’re French Ski School instructors in Courchevel 1850. We’re also keen and regular cyclists so were able to build on our ski instructor qualifications to pass our mountain biking instructor qualifications last year.
To us, electric bikes are the trend of the moment, because they let families, friends or couples who have differing ability levels all cycle together. Using the different levels of assistance, everyone can find their own groove and have fun. We see it a little bit like off-piste skiing, having adventures off the beaten track.

Everybody: sporty people, experts, beginners, children… We have mountain bikes for kids who are more than 120cm tall. The electric assistance means that everyone can keep up with the ride, you just have to use the 3 modes: eco, trail (intermediate) and boost.

We have a hire-only section including children’s bikes, semi-rigid bikes (with front suspension, perfect for cycling on the Col de la Loze or going for short rides) and full suspension (for all mountain terrain types).
Next, we offer group rides with an instructor, with different levels available: discovery, sporty and expert. You might start on a tarmac itinerary, then move up to a 4x4-type trail and then, if the rider feels comfortable, progress to fairly flat single tracks.
The 3rd option is a private instructor. Just like skiing in winter, we adapt to suit our clients’ wishes: one day, several days with a night in a mountain refuge, a tour of multiple mountain ranges… it’s tailor-made!

We look after the safety side of things, giving advice on the use of the brakes, posture, taking corners, fast sections… a bit like a skiing or snowboarding instructor! Beyond providing basic guidance, we’re also guides; we choose the right itinerary, plan for altitude changes, adapt to different ability levels and preferences.

In Courchevel, there are magnificent places such as Lac de La Rosière, Les Avals… right away you’re in a wild, unspoilt mountain environment. For experts, there’s the Dent du Villard with its fantastic technically challenging downhill sections. Then, just like in the winter in Les 3 Vallées, there are also a huge number of possibilities for rides in the surrounding area.
