La Croisette and the snow front

Flocon
La Croisette de nuit
This where it all began…

Back in 1946, Laurent Chappis, the resort’s architectural town-planner, chose this spot to be the point at which the ski runs would converge, the hub of the resort’s services; a place bustling with non-stop activity. Today, it’s still home to a car park, bus station, ski pass sales outlet, piste and rescue service, ski school, La Maison de la Montagne mountain information centre, post office, banks, La Croisette Hall, cinema, La Montagne des Jeux children’s area… Skiers and pedestrians mingle together here, whilst their cars are tucked cosily out of sight.
The foot of the ski lifts is also the meeting point for ski lessons, with a wide range of entertainment and activities on offer to delight all ages: marshmallow parties, concerts, maple taffy-making, Millet Ski Touring, BMW x-drive… This is definitely the place to be for the resort’s unmissable major events such as ski shows, a visit from Father Christmas, New Year’s Eve dance party, Orthodox Christmas, fireworks festival, Easter Egg hunt…
