INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PYROTECHNIC ART

Courchevel, the leading resort for mountain fireworks displays celebrates this 11^th annual event.

Come and stay in the enchanting environment that Courchevel offers and see a competition that is unique in Europe.
This pyrotechnics festival is a competition with a series of spectacular fireworks displays, where specialist companies - here to show off their know-how - will compete. Each year, over 8,000 spectators come and see the competition, and enjoy the traditional torch-lit descent by the resort's ski instructors while they taste the mulled wine.

This year, the overall theme is "A new world".

The pyrotechnicians will have one minute during the opening to entertain the crowds on the theme of "Thunder and Light".
