COURCHEVEL TOURISM has been certified since August 2011 to control the standard of furnished rental accommodation in Courchevel, to obtain the national classification grading between 1* and 5*.
At the same time, Courchevel Tourism has implemented the ‘label Courchevel’ internal and specific for the station.

COURCHEVEL LABEL
This classification, specific to Courchevel, is established in an objective manner taking into account your expectations and requirements.
The grading must total a minimum of 80/100 points after a visit and inspection by a member of Courchevel Tourism. The criteria necessary to obtain the « Courchevel Label » are based on 4 themes:
- The outside environment, neighbourhood and buildings.
- Equipment, comfort, decoration, the state and cleanliness of the appartment or chalet.
- Service to the customers.
- Sustainable development.
« Courchevel Label » defined according to 3 levels:

THE NATIONAL CLASSIFICATION
The new standards and procedures (1* to 5*) for the classification are determine by the new law of tourism July 22nd 2009.
WHY THIS REFORM ?
- To harmonise the system of classification on the international scene and provide a better standard on offer.
- Modernise standards which have become obsolete. From July 2012 the grading obtained before the new law will become obsolete.
- To guarantee and ensure a quality of comfort, equipment and service.
- The classification, defined between 1* and 5*, will offer a broader range of accommodation and budget..
- Demonstrating the competitive rates Courchevel is offering after the grading and classification of the rental properties.
