AUDI FIS SKI WORLD CUP - LADIES ALPINE
Courchevel
Come and encourage the world's best female skiers right at the heart of the action, during this international downhill skiing competition.
In just three years, Courchevel has come to occupy a key position on the international downhill skiing calendar. It is now one of the most anticipated events of the season!
On Sunday 16th December 2012, the ladies will settle into their winter quarters at Courchevel, for a giant slalom event at the Emile-Allais stadium. We are expecting Marlies Schild (winner of the two previous Courchevel events), Lindsey Vonn, Maria Riesch, and the French team comprising Tessa Worley and two representatives from the Courchevel Sports Club, Taïna Barioz and Anne-Sophie Barthet, all of whom will take to the slopes for this major skiing festival.
Free access to the arrival area.
Saturday 15th December
5.30pm: Opening.
6.00pm: Official bib collection ceremony with the athletes followed by an ice skating show with international skaters, singers, jugglers and a beast tamer.
Free entries to collect at Courchevel Tourisme from the 12th December until tickets supplies are exhausted.

Sunday 16th december
From 9.00am: Official village and entertainments.
9.45am-10.15am: Air show.
10.30am: Giant slalom 1st run slalom course Emile-Allais.
12.00pm-12.30pm: Les Aigles du Léman falconry show.
12.30pm-1.15pm: Air show.
11.30am-12.15pm: Concert.
1.30pm: Giant slalom 2nd run - slalom course Emile Allais.
2.15pm: Trophee giving.
