The Société des 3 Vallées which manages the ski area is renowned for its expertise in the development of ski areas, safety and innovation. It is behind a number of innovations in the area of safety, including the Magnestick Kid, Magnestick Bar and Security Patrols.

It was also behind the creation of the ski patrollers and was the first resort to equip itself with slope groomers.
