Timeless, Elevatory, Irresistible
Access by the Verdons gondola lift (1850/2100 m) and the Saulire cable car (2100/2700 m).
A cable car, high altitude restaurant, walks for all levels (Col du fruit, épaule de la Vizelle, Lac des Creux…), mountain biking tracks, orientation tables, a Via Ferrata, a picnic area and a connection to Méribel : whatever type of escape you are looking for, nothing will stop you pushing your experiences to the limit, especially as the Saulire bends over backwards to encourage your getaway…
Once you’re at the top, you will enjoy a fantastic view over Mont-Blanc, the highest summit in Europe at 4 808 metres and the Grande Casse, the highest summit in the Savoie region at 3 855 metres. Opposite you will see the glaciers of the Vanoise National Park, the largest icecap in the Alps, as well as the 3 Valleys, the largest ski area in the world. But strangely enough, far from feeling like a conqueror, you will feel humble, very humble indeed !
From the top of the Saulire and heading towards the épaule de la Vizelle, three downhill routes will take you back to Courchevel or back
towards the 3 Valleys. Whether you are a keen sportsman or woman, an amateur, beginner or expert mountain biker, there is a route to suit each and every one of you.
From the top of the Saulire down to Brides-les-Bains in the valley, 20 kms of descent through woods and meadows await adrenalin lovers. Routes reserved for advanced mountain bikers only. Use of protective equipment strongly advised.
